Setup

How do I turn Grafilo on?

Open Android Settings, search for "On-screen keyboard", turn on Grafilo, then pick it as your keyboard the next time you type. The app walks you through this on first launch.

Why is the download so big?

Kip's AI model lives on your phone, so it has to be downloaded once. That is what lets Grafilo work without the internet and keep your words private. Use Wi-Fi if you can. You can leave the app while it downloads.

The download stopped.

Check your connection and open the app to try again. It continues from where it stopped. If you chose Wi-Fi only, it waits until you are on Wi-Fi.

Using Kip

Kip is Grafilo's built-in assistant. Tap the AI bar above the keys to use it.

Kip is slow the first time.

The first use after setup can take a moment while Kip gets ready. After that, actions are quick. Keeping the app open until "Kip is ready" appears avoids the wait.

How do I steer a Reply?

Tap Reply, then "Use my note" and type a few words such as "say yes after 2". Kip writes the message for you. Tap Reply again for another version.

Which languages work best?

Kip works best in English and the larger European languages. Other languages work, with less reliable results. Typing, suggestions and voice cover many more languages.

Other apps

My banking app does not open while Reply's accessibility service is on.

Some banking apps refuse to run next to any accessibility service. Turn the Grafilo accessibility service off in Android settings while you use them. The keyboard and the other AI actions keep working.

Your data

Is anything I type sent anywhere?

No. The AI and voice typing run on your phone. See the privacy policy for details.

How do I remove everything?

Uninstall the app, or clear its storage in Android settings. This removes the models, your settings and learned words.
